Edward has been involved in Muay Thai for more than 14years. He lived in Thailand for over 3 years and fought in the professional circuit. In addition, he has fought for the World Muay Thai Council (WMTC) - the only Muay Thai sanctioning body recognized by the government of Thailand. He was recognized as high as 8th in the world.
Edward is a fully certified instructor in the art of Muay Thai. He has been teaching for over 6 years. As well as continuing to compete himself he also trains many different professional fighters for Kickboxing, Thaiboxing and Mixed Martial Arts. Edward is active in Amateur Muay Thai in Ontario and is certified by CAMTAO (Canadian Amateur Muay Thai Association of Ontario). This certification allows Edward to train A, B, and C amateur level fighters.
Edward teaches a unique brand of Authentic Muay Thai (AMT Thaiboxing), which is more traditional and faithful to the art of Muay Thai than Western Style Thaiboxing. This style of Thaiboxing focuses on elbows, knees and clinching techniques, while still utilizing powerful kicks and punches. Edward's program emphasizes a high level of cardio conditioning and skill but it is still geared to all levels from beginner to advanced.
