DAVE EDWARDS
David Edwards began studying various Martial arts in the fall of 2000. When David first began his training his knowledge within the martial arts and life discipline were influenced by many experienced, driven individuals. These men and women revealed unique theories and ambitions to the progress of martial arts today. David has been honored to learn from such people as Dan Inosanto, Joey de Los Reyes, Marc Denny and Chris Sayoc.
Six years have past since the first time David discovered the Kombat Arts Training Academy. David's main studies include Kali, Muay Thai and Boxing. However as his attitude and character matured he also expressed an interest in Capoeira, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, Chi Kung and Muay Boran. With these new arts follow new guides with years of experience and wisdom. People such as Marcos da Silva, Irina Benoit, Mehdi Pouroskoui and Rafael Delgado continue to develop David's character within and beyond the ring.
David is now an acting part time staff member of the Kombat Arts Training Academy and continues his studies within the martial arts. He hopes to learn from new students and old masters alike.
Dave is also a certified Thai boxing coach through the CASK organization. |
